My love for photography truly blossomed when my husband gifted me my first professional camera

Hello, I’m Veronika Merlet, a passionate wedding and family photographer based in Brittany, France. Originally from Belarus, I moved to Guidel-Plages after meeting my French husband in 2017. Today, I live by the sea with my wonderful husband, our 10-year-old daughter, and our 3-year-old son.

Before becoming a photographer, I was a professional dancer in Belarus, performing at weddings, major events, and even on television.

This experience gave me invaluable insight into the world of weddings and event organization, as well as the ability to empathize with those in front of the camera. My love for photography truly blossomed when my husband gifted me my first professional camera. Since then, photography has become more than a profession for me— it’s my passion and a way to capture life’s fleeting, emotional moments.
